Role and Responsibilities:

As a QA Test Specialist, your focus will be testing new features or enhancements to the existing product.

• Conducts a range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications or client requirements.
• Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
• Collaborates with internal or external team members to plan different forms of applicable test phases; to ensure that applicable test phases are successfully completed and documented and there is a plan for problem resolution.
• When specializing in QA, develops and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures and methods.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in software testing.
• Experience across all the types of testing: functional, non-functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, cross-browser, cross platform, integration, etc.
• Ability to test Web and Mobile applications deployed on cloud and testing applications built using AWS services.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Expertise in creating scripts with tools like Katalon, Selenium WebDriver, Sauce Labs, REST Assured, SQL etc.
• Experience in creating test strategies, test plans, traceability matrices, checklists and test cases from Business Requirements/Specifications for QA and User groups.
• Proficient in creating, executing and maintaining tests according to test scripts and test plans.
• Good knowledge in SQL to write queries joining multiple tables and get the data
• Ability to test front end and back end software components and apply industry best practices.
• Ability to review system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, and debugs software solutions.
• Ability to report issues found to development, project management or implementation teams.
• Good understanding of how automation frameworks across industry.
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of Software Test Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements gathering, Design, Development, Testing).
• Must have excellent knowledge and experience on Agile/Scrum delivery and execution environment
• Familiarity with agile development methodology including tools like Git, Jira
• A fair understanding on BDD concepts

It would be great if you are familiar with the below –

• Any programming / scripting language like JAVA,Shell, Python, PowerShell etc.
• Knowledge on mobile testing.
• ETL tests.
• A good team player and individual contributor with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
