What is Design!

From a designer’s point of view, the design is what you feel and come up with.

It’s just a soothing combination of colors, spacing, images, and texts which makes someone feel wow and prompt them to say “Aha”!

But it does not happen all the time; some time designer faces a number of feedbacks and that too after hours of work such as:

  • Color is not nice
  • This design is missing fun element
  • Not at all professional
  • Space is too much
  • Space is too less

I don’t deny with the above feedbacks as sometimes they come with the real sense. If I say in general what a designer does!  He collects his imaginations and put the same in his work; sometimes it looks too basic and sometimes it goes outstanding.

I raised the above points because I believe it’s just a perception of mind as red can look good to someone and can seem a danger to someone.

My Thought – Design is the perception of mind, what I feel is not the same thing what client/user will feel or like.

Some time design is complex and sometimes it’s too easy; sometimes it goes without saying and sometimes it takes numerous example to show the reason behind the design.

Satisfying someone’s mind is the difficult job and it becomes more difficult when you are doing your job with your mind.

When you get the client’s feedback it will be like :

“I don’t like the pink color, its looks so kiddish, can you try some dark pink which is favorite color of my wife”

Your favorite color is light pink and what client likes is a dark pink, so at the end, the entire imagination goes in vain and that too in a minute.

Hence, not all the times but sometimes just by getting such feedbacks it kills everything.

A design has huge impact; if your product is good but the design is not so overwhelming, it will fail. As the design tells the steps to a user to take, you can define your product with the medium of design. The red color always indicates “Importance/Alert ” as green is always a signal of “Complete/Go”.

All the colors have there value and perception, you can put a red color on anything to get huge attention!
