Shopify is not a new company, and it continues to grow year after year. They continue to put a premium on customer service and meeting their needs. Shopify is working on new features for all of its loyal merchants in order to provide a better consumer experience. Shopify assists merchants in creating their store with just a few clicks and provides them with all they require to make their store simple to manage. Shopify introduced some amazing features for developers and Shopify store owners a few months ago. The most important of these aspects is that they want their store to be as unrestricted as possible.

Let’s have a look at some of the new Shopify 2.0 features:

Add Sections Where You Want – You can now add sections wherever you want to make your store more interesting and appealing. You could only add sections to the homepage in prior versions of Shopify. With Shopify 2.0, now you can add sections to all the website pages as per your choices and give it a different look.

Add Meta Fields and Properties without Coding – Store owners can add meta fields and properties without coding! This means you may add text to a product page while still making room for extra information like a sizing chart or an ingredient list. This is true for all areas of the site, not just product pages.

Reduce Loading Time – Loading time has a significant impact on your revenue. Customers are more engaged when your website takes less time to load. As a result, in Shopify 2.0, they concentrated on reducing the time it took for a website to load. The website templates they supply are simple and quick to load, which has a direct impact on revenue.

Liquid Input Configuration – The theme editor now has a Liquid input feature. You may now input liquid variables in the form of both global and template-specific Liquid objects, just like you do with HTML variables. What does this mean for traders, however? When adding code for apps using Liquid, they won’t have to worry about manually updating the code of any theme.

A New Theme to Create Great xperiences – Themes are vital elements, especially for new businesses. Five years ago Debut was the default theme for Shopify stores. And merchants were feeling some limitations while customizing their theme codes and Shopify’s ability to deliver feature updates and improvements was being hampered as a result of this. Shopify store 2.0 has launched a brand new default theme that is called Dawn. This theme was designed by following UX standards and this is also fast by default. It takes 35 per cent less time to load than Debut. So merchants are getting most of the latest features by using this new theme to create great experiences.

So these are some outstanding features of Shopify 2.0 such as Flexible store content, Upgraded theme architecture, Enhancements to the theme editor, and A new reference theme to make your store easy to handle.
